Elsa Brittin graduated from NSCAD University with a BFA Ceramics. She has previously shown at the Anna Leonowens Gallery in Halifax, NS, the Craig Gallery in Dartmouth, NS, the Durham West Studio Tour in Claremont, ON, and the Gynocratic Art Gallery hosted online.
Through dynamic lines and form, Brittin explores the relationship between function and sculpture. Her pieces celebrate a captured moment in time where the fragility of clay and the permanence of ceramic making collide to create functional pieces for everyday use.
